Timelock Royale

This is the first game we've seriously developed; it was created for a university project.

The idea of the game was to create something fun to play with friends, with characters that most people would recognize, and with an interesting look by using sprites instead of 3D models for the characters. The goal was to create a fun and entertaining game.

I'll be crediting the assets used, which were made by third parties. Please be patient.

Feel free to download it and play with your friends.

First, some brief instructions on how to play with your friends.

• First, you need to open Steam before opening the game.

• Second, open the game and it will say that you're playing Space Wars, since it uses the developer test Steam ID. (Remember, to play with your friends, everyone must be in the same region!)

• Third, once everyone has the game, one of the players will have to host a game clicking on Host Game. Once created and the game mode chosen, other players can search for the game in the Find Game section and hit Refresh. (You'll have to wait a bit until the game created by your friend appears. Their Steam name will appear, so you can recognize which lobby they created.)

• Finally, all you have to do is choose your favorite character, hit the Toggle Ready button, and wait for the host to start the game.

Keyboard and controller controls.

With a keyboard and mouse, you only need to use the WASD keys or the left stick on your controller for player movement, IJKL on the keyboard or AXBY on your controller for abilities, and SPACEBAR or RB (Shoulder Right Button) on your controller to perform dashes.

To pause, use the P or ESC key and the pause button on your controller.

For controllers, it's important to first configure the Steam section. You first need to open the Steam layout with SHIFT+TAB, access the controller layout section, and download a default Xbox controller layout or whatever you prefer.
